Arrrggghhhhh ! Why ?!?!
To anyone starting a new business in NC -
Get ready for a buch of wasted time , money, aggervation, and goverment crap at its finest ! Just to give bit of back story ----
It all started with a city business privledge liscense ( 250 smackers ), THEN, zoning inspection ( $50), letter of correct zoning for the DMV inspector ( $35), normal utilities ( $1000 for them all, minus cable ), telephone service ( $150 with a 3 year contract ), new deeler class ( to get your NC dealer permit - $395, plus driving to Charlotte for 2 days -etc.), then more inpections for electricity/fire/acess to B-rooms codes - ( I dont want to know how many billions those will cost me ) then theres remodeling costs ( again, too much - scarey stuff ), shop equipment ( I wrote a check for 11k earlier this week), the rocking computer system ( 32k) and the list goes on and on --- but it will all be worth it, we will be open on the 24 th , full bore and wide open ! I cant wait ! They tile guys are just about done and let me tell you, it looks awesome ! As soon as you open the door youll see a huge checkered flag pattern ! They have to finish the grouting adn as soon as they do Ill post some pics - the painters are done, it also looks great, so , another inspection and the dry wall guys can finish up and that will all get painted - man, these are exciting times - now, if only the inspectors will think so also !
